In a business situation staff will be aware a 'photographer is in the building' but after that it's about catching people engrossed in their work, talking to clients or in a meeting situation. People Photography, how does it work for business?
People photography must engage the viewer, lead them into the image, make them think about what's going on. As with all photography if you don't capture the viewer's attention you may as well present a blank space. With corporate photography engaging the viewer is even more important, a blank space is like an empty shop window - one in a million will think it's cool and quirky but everyone else will think the business is closed.
People photography around your business location can often produce new ideas for advertising images - seeing the way people react and interact with your location and staff - it can also provide a basis for Artvertising

I guess I'm a born people watcher and it's become part of my photographic ideology. I was never one for the gritty downtrodden dour images, I've always strived for up-beat and optimistic. I like people, but mostly I like happy people. Happiness is contagious. And in most business situations, happiness communicates a sense of wellbeing, and warmth - and it sells.
